Good afternoon, Jets Families!

Our sixth week of practice is nearly in the books, and, as hard as it is to believe, we have only one short week left in the season!

Your weekly roundup of all things Jets (Precomp, and Comp) follow in this email so ensure that you read everything carefully! Divers, make sure to check with Coach Jeanette for all things dive!

Please make sure you have declared your athlete as available or not available for All City. Even if you don't think your swimmer will qualify, but you are available on July 8th, please sign up! If you are undeclared on July 3rd, we will assume you are unavailable. The All City Roster will be released on Friday, July 3rd at 8:00pm.

☀️ After a small change of plans, "Fun Thursday Friday" will be combined from 8:00am to 9:00am tomorrow. Coach Drew (in his Kansas City Blazers merch) will talk about what year round club swimming looks like for those who are interested. We will have signup cards for families who have fallen in love with the sport of swimming and are looking to take the sport to the next level! We will have donuts, slides and games. We hope to see everyone there! 

🍕 Our End of Season Pizza Party will be on Monday, July 6th, at 5:30pm. Bring your swimmers and families for some end of year fun at our pool!

🕸️ Please make sure you frequently check out the team website and have updated your team account for the 2026 season. If you are reading this email, that does not mean you are updated for the 2026 season. You will need to login and re-register on our team website to do this. New team members will follow the same link attached below, and create a new account (registration on the team website is $0).

🇺🇸 🦅 In honor of our country's 250th birthday, we will not have practice on July 3rd. Enjoy this special Independence Day weekend with friends and family as we celebrate 250 years of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Safe travels to those who are leaving town, and safe wishes to those who enjoy pyrotechnics.

✈️ This week's fifth competitive swim meet information: Please arrive at the pool no later than 5:00pm for check in. Warmups will begin promptly at 5:30pm, and the meet will start at 6:00pm. Heat sheets will be available onsite, however, it is recommended to view it on the Swimtopia app, or download it and print it yourself to bring. An email will go out when they are available. Don't forget to look over our swim meet guide on our website. Don't forget to volunteer if spots are available! We still need two stroke and turn judges!

Theme: Red, White, and Blue for USA - Jets Making Waves! Wear your red, white, and blue for our pre- 4th of July meet and go all out because this is our last meet before champs! 

Important note on relays; please make sure to check out with a coach before you leave the meet to ensure you aren’t in any relays. There are free relays this meet!

🛩️ There is no Precompete meet this weekend. Practices will resume until July 7th next week.
