✈️ Jets Preseason Updates ✈️
Good afternoon, J Jets Families!
The start of our 2026 season is coming up fast, and our coaches are counting down the days to our first practice! Here are a few updates and reminders as we approach the coming season in the next month:
⏱️ Tryouts will be held on May 16th at 9-11 am. Drop in anytime during this event to get placed with your practice group! If you swam with us last year, there is no need to attend this unless you are interested in changing groups.
🧑 Our Parent Meeting will be held on May 16th at 11 am, right after tryouts on the pool deck (this has been rescheduled from May 1st, 2026). Pick up your T-shirt and cap, meet the coaches, and our parent board!-- Our first day of practice is May 26th, 2026. If you are still out of town for Memorial Day, no worries! Just come on in when you can! The meet schedule for precompete, dive, and competitive is attached below.
🕸️ Don't forget to make sure you are registered on Swimtopia for THIS summer (2026 season). Follow this link to our Swimtopia website for updates, meet signups, and more: https://jcc-jets.

🩳 Team suits are available in our SwimOutlet Store. Directions on how to size your suit are listed at the bottom of this email. If you have a suit from last year that is in good condition, feel free to use that one this year as well. SwimOutlet: https://www.

Have a great week!
---------------
Here is a quick "newbie-friendly" guide to help you navigate our SwimOutlet Team Store. If you have already bought your team suit, or already know how to do so. You may skip and disregard this email!
1. How to Find Your Size
Don't guess based on your child's age or current "street" clothes! Competitive suits are designed to be much tighter than fashion swimwear.
- The Size Chart: Visit our Team Store and click on the required team suit. Look for the "Size Chart" link next to the size selection menu.
- The 3 Measurements: Grab a soft measuring tape and measure the Chest, Waist/Hips, and most importantly, the Torso (a loop starting at the shoulder, down through the legs, and back up to the same shoulder). Boys only need the waist.
- The "Dry Fit" Rule: When the suit arrives, try it on while dry. It should feel very snug. For the ladies only: If the shoulder straps can easily be pulled up to the ears, the suit is likely too big and will "bag" once it hits the water.
2.
Important: The Return Policy
Because our team suits are customized with our logo, they are considered "Final Sale." SwimOutlet will not accept returns or exchanges for custom items.
3. How to Be 100% Sure Before You Order
Since you can't return the suit, we recommend one of these three strategies:
- The "Double Order" Hack: Some parents order two "plain" (non-logoed) versions of the suit from the main SwimOutlet site first. Plain suits can be returned. Once you know which size fits, return them and order the logoed version from our Team Store.
- Ask a Teammate: Our returning families are happy to help! Don't be afraid to ask a teammate of a similar age if your child can "dry-fit" their suit for a moment to check the size.
4. What if it still doesn't fit?
If you accidentally order the wrong size, please let us know. While we can’t return it to the store, we can often help you find another parent on the team who is looking for that exact size!
If you have any questions, just hit reply! We're here to help.
