    July 4th

    Good afternoon, everyone!

    This email is for All City Participants only. I have attached the All City roster to this email.

    If you cannot make this meet for any reason, and your athlete is on the list, please email as soon as possible. For those that did not make the list, we look forward to seeing you at our End of Year Pizza Party on Monday July 14th (rescheduled from July 13th)! RSVPs are open now!

    Quick Details:

    Meet Location: Black Bob Bay (14570 W 151st St, Olathe, KS 66062)

    Swimmer Arrival Time: 6:30 AM (please arrive no later than this)

    Warmup Time: 7:00 AM - 7:20 AM

    Timer and Stroke Judge Meeting: 7:40 AM

    Meet Start Time: 8:15AM (First call will be at 8:00AM)

    *It is estimated that the meet will get out no later than 3:00PM.

    There is an All City Coaches Relay that will take place after the last event.

    Coach Drew, Coach MC, Coach Nick, and Coach Leah will be swimming (tentatively).

    Logistics Details:

    ● Carpooling is strongly advised as parking is limited

    ● NO cars parked in the drop off/pick up area in front of the building.

    ● Parking will be available in the northernmost parking lot in Black Bob Park. ADA Parking only will be available in the front small parking lot by the pool.
    ● Enter through the main pool entrance.
    ● Spectator seating will be available on the east side of the lap pool on the deck, or on the south side in the grass only. Spectators will need to bring chairs and/or blankets to sit on. Shade tents are allowed ONLY in southern, grass spectator seating as long as they do not obstruct the vision of the other spectators.
    ● Parents/Friends/Family members are not allowed to sit or hang out in the swimmers' crash areas. 
    ● Concessions will be selling drinks and snacks.
    ● Food trucks - Coffee Truck in the morning, Chic-Fil-A and Kona Ice will be present for lunch out front.

    ● Coaches will pick up rewards and hand them out. Parents, volunteers, and swimmers are NOT allowed in the awards room.

    ● The meet results will be available via Swimtopia live throughout the meet.

    ● Olathe will be using a competition starting system for starts.

    ● Heat sheets will be sold for $2.00 at the front desk entrance (We will have limited quantities available). Heat sheets will be emailed out Monday afternoon, and will be available in the Swimtopia app. Bring your own to save money!

    ● The Theme for the event will be “Out of this World!”.

    Volunteer Information
    We (as a team) have been tasked with providing the following volunteers: Timers, Runners, Zookeeper (crash area supervisor), Hospitality, and a stroke and turn judge. Since this will be a long meet, most volunteer positions will be broken up into shifts (listed in swimtopia). There will be 7 timers per lane (we provide 5) in order to maximize the speed of the meet. Stopwatches will be provided.

    Jobs are posted on the Swimtopia Calendar under the All City Meet. Please fill in if your swimmer is on the roster!

    We are nearly there! Make sure swimmers are getting plenty of rest, and food before this Wednesday so that they can swim their best!
