Good afternoon, J Jets Families!!
Despite yet another unfortunate rainout of meet #4, we celebrate the conclusion of another successful week! Now we are on to our fifth week, closing out the final chapters of our summer season. With all of that being said, please make sure to read through everything as it covers information for both precompete and competitive information!
🌩️ Thank you to everyone who came to Competitive Meet #4 on Thursday last week (even though we never actually touched the water). We will not be rescheduling this meet, so instead, we press on to Meet #5!
🔥 Thank you to all of our Precompete families that attended Precomp Meet #4 on Saturday last week! We had a lot of best times, and great experiences as well (as usual). Thank you to everyone who volunteered!
🎗️ Ribbons from all past meets are available for pickup.
💥 There is NO PRACTICE on Independence Day. Enjoy your time with friends and family as we celebrate our country together.
📢 Please make sure you frequently check out the team website and have updated your team account for the 2025 season. If you are reading this email, that does not mean you are updated for the 2025 season. You will need to login and re-register on our team website to do this. -- PRECOMPETE practices will resume until July 11th. Despite being finished with all of the season meets, there is still plenty of fun in store! 🏆 COMPETITIVE: Please make sure you declare whether your swimmer(s) are available to attend All City Champs on July 9th, 2025. Even if you think your swimmer may not qualify, please declare them anyway! We need to know who is and who is not available to attend! You can do this on the calendar page like any other meet. More information will follow in a special email tomorrow!

⚠️ A quick note on swimmers wondering if they have swam enough to be eligible for All City. Due to the rainout meets we've had this season, if your swimmer has a "no time" in any event, they can complete a time trial this week at practice! The coaching staff will be coordinating this with swimmers on an individual basis. More details tomorrow!
✈️ This week's fifth competitive swim meet information (it is a Thursday Meet): Please arrive at the pool no later than 5:00pm for check in. Warmups will begin promptly at 5:15pm, and the meet will start at 6:00pm. Heat sheets will be available onsite, however, it is recommended to view it on the swimtopia app, or download it and print it yourself to bring. Don't forget to look over our swim meet guide on our website! The sign up deadline is Tuesday, July 1st! Don't forget to volunteer if spots are available!

Important note on relays; please make sure to check out with a coach before you leave the meet to ensure you aren’t in any relays. We had some swimmers last week leave without checking out, so we had to scratch/change relays at the last minute.
