Good afternoon, J Jets Families!!
What a fast first two season weeks we've had! Now we are on to our third week, marking our halfway point through our summer season. With all of that being said, please make sure to read through everything as it covers information for both precompete and competitive information!
🎉 Thank you to everyone who came to Competitive Meet #2 on Thursday last week! It was a very successful meet for our team, as we had numerous best times, explosive event debuts, and some great relay races!
🎉 Thank you to all of our Precompete families that attended Precomp Meet #2 on Saturday last week! We had a lot of best times, and great experiences as well.
A quick note regarding the pool distance from Precomp Meet #2: To our knowledge, the pool was indeed 25 yards long, so if your swimmer dropped a crazy amount of time, it is purely the result of a great race! Congrats to those who had such a great meet on Saturday.
🎗️ Ribbons from Meet #2 will be available for pickup on Wednesday this week. In order to get a ribbon, you must place in the top 8 of your event! Ribbons from Meet #1 are available for pickup today (sorry for the delay). Results from Meet #2 are attached.
‼️ Please make sure you frequently check out the team website and have updated your team account for the 2025 season. If you are reading this email, that does not mean you are updated for the 2025 season. You will need to login and re-register on our team website to do this. New team members will follow the same link attached below, and create a new account (registration on the team website is $0).

🧢 The custom caps have been ordered! We will let you know as soon as we get them! Thank you to everyone who ordered! 📢 PRECOMPETE will be having dive practices on Tuesday nights and Wednesday mornings in the outdoor pool (depending on space). If you want your swimmer to have plenty of block and start time make sure to come on those days (no signup needed). If you can't make your assigned practice (morning or evening), please let Coach Susie know ahead of time so she can check if there is space for you.
📢 COMPETITIVE: Please make sure you declare whether your swimmer(s) are available to attend All City Champs on July 9th, 2025. Even if you think your swimmer may not qualify, please declare them anyway! We need to know who is and who is not available to attend! You can do this on the calendar page like any other meet. More information will follow next week!

✈️ This week's third competitive swim meet information (it is a Wednesday Meet): Please arrive at the pool no later than 5:00pm for check in. Warmups will begin promptly at 5:15pm, and the meet will start at 6:00pm. Heat sheets will be available onsite, however, it is recommended to view it on the swimtopia app, or download it and print it yourself to bring. Don't forget to look over our swim meet guide on our website! The sign up deadline is Tuesday, June 17th! Don't forget to volunteer if spots are available!

Important note on relays; please make sure to check out with a coach before you leave the meet to ensure you aren’t in any relays. We had some swimmers last week leave without checking out, so we had to scratch/change relays at the last minute.
