We are just four days away from our first practice! That said, please pay close attention to this email, especially if you did not attend the parent meeting last week!

🌊 Our first day of practice is Tuesday, May 27th.

- Advanced: 6:45 am - 8:15 am in the outdoor pool

- Intermediate: 8:00 am - 9:15 am in the outdoor pool

- Precompete: 8:00 am - 9:00 am in the indoor pool

- Evening advanced and intermediate combined: 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm in the outdoor pool

- Evening precompete: 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm in the indoor pool.

⏱️ If you have not attended tryouts, come to the practice group you signed up for, and we can evaluate your swimmer then. They will join their new practice group on the same day, if needed. 

🗓 If you missed the parent meeting, the team handbook is attached to this email. If you are new or returning, please read the team handbook in detail. Quick Note: Meet #3 has been rescheduled for Wednesday, June 18th, 2025. 

🕸 Please make sure you frequently check out the team website and have updated your team account for the 2025 season. If you are reading this email, that does not mean you are updated for the 2025 season. You will need to log in and re-register on our team website to do this. If you had issues re-registering last week, those issues should be resolved now. New team members will follow the same link attached below and create a new account (registration on the team website is $0).

🏪 Our online store is up and running! If you have not ordered a team suit, now is a great time! You can also order from your phone right after the parent meeting in case you have questions!

🧢 If you would like to order a custom swim cap with your swimmer's name on it, please order using this Google form. Each order is $25 for two caps. The deadline to order a custom cap is June 4th, 2025!

🔥 This year, we are having a fundraiser to pay for NEW and IMPROVED starting blocks for our outdoor pool!! Follow these instructions to help out. We will have our fundraising rep demonstrate the rest of the process to you on Tuesday at 7:30 am - 8:30 am during practice. PLEASE READ the attached document to get every detail! 

1) Work with your Parent/Guardians to compile a list of 20+ email addresses of potential supporters of our program.

2) Save that list of emails on your electronic device by Load Up Day. We will be able to bulk upload all your emails from the Notes section of your phone or laptop.

🔥🔥 Last but certainly not least, it is not too late to sign up for the 2025 season! I have gotten several emails asking if people can still join the team, and the answer is a resounding YES! If you know anyone interested in swimming this summer at the J, please forward them this email, and they can get in contact with Coach Drew! We are a team that largely grows by word of mouth, so please don't hesitate to recruit friends and family! The more the merrier!
