Good afternoon, J Jets Families!!
Despite the thunderstorms, we had a great second meet! Thank you to those who volunteered to help the meet run. Your (late) weekly roundup for this week includes details about tomorrow's meet, picture day, our Andy's After-Party, and more!
🎗️Ribbons from Meet #2 are ready for pickup before and after practice this week! 🕡 If you have missed the entry deadline, email me tonight and I can enter your swimmer in the meet tomorrow.
⚠️ Important note on relays; please make sure to check out with a coach before you leave the meet to ensure you aren’t in any relays. There are two relays this meet!
🧢 Custom Cap order #2 has been placed and the caps are en route!
🌊 We have our third Fun Friday practice this coming Friday. All groups will practice at 8:00am. Join us for some games, slides, and treats!
🕸️ Please make sure you have registered to our team website at Swimtopia. If you already have an account from past seasons, make sure to update it for the current season (2024). The system will not let you sign up for meets if you missed this step. Please email me if you have any questions or issues!
📸 Picture day is TOMORROW (Thursday) morning, June 20th! We will have all groups attending the 8:00am practice for our 2024 team pictures. Please wear your team suit, and team shirt.
📣 We will be going to Andy’s as a team after our home meet on TOMORROW (June 20th)! Please bring the attached flyer to show them, and for every Jet that buys ice cream after the meet, one dollar will be donated back to the team! Don’t miss!!
🏆 Please make sure to declare whether your swimmer is available to swim in the All City Meet on July 10th! Even if you don't think they will make it, if they are available, sign them up! Undeclared athletes will not attend the meet.
🚧 Don't forget to volunteer for the meet tomorrow! We still need 2 timers and 2 stroke and turn judges! The more volunteers we have, the faster our meets run!
*Volunteers will meet by the first aid station near the stairs.

📅 For our third meet this Thursday, please arrive at the pool no later than 5:00pm for check in. Warmups will begin promptly at 5:30pm, and the meet will start at 6:00pm. Heat sheets will be available onsite, however, it is recommended to view it on the swimtopia app, or download it and print it yourself to bring. Don't forget to look over our swim meet guide on our website!
