Good afternoon, J Jets Families!!

Our few practices have gone swimmingly (pun very much intended), and it is so exciting to begin our first official week of the season! With that being said, below are details about meet entries, the meet on Thursday (in general), some practice information, and more! 

🕸️ Please make sure you have registered to our team website at Swimtopia. If you already have an account from past seasons, make sure to update it for the current season (2024). The system will not let you sign up for meets if you missed this step. Please email me if you have any questions or issues!

🕡 Entries for our first meet this Thursday are due tonight at 11:30PM. Please email me if you have any issues getting signed up for this meet. Don't forget to volunteer! 

📅 For our first meet this Thursday, please arrive at the pool no later than 5:15pm for check in. Warmups will begin promptly at 5:30pm, and the meet will start at 6:00pm. Heat sheets will be available onsite, however, it is recommended to view it on the swimtopia app, or download it and print it yourself to bring. Don't forget to look over our swim meet guide on our website!

Arrive Time: 5:15pm 

Warmup Time: 5:30pm 

Meet Starts: 6:00pm

🌊 Practice on Thursday morning will go over basic meet info for all of our new swimmers this year. We will go over starts, basic meet etiquette/sportsmanship, and anything else swimmers need to know. Please make sure to attend! 

🚮 Earlier this week, someone left a large mess in the men's locker room. Please remind your swimmers to pick up after themselves, and be respectful of our facility. We are lucky to have it! 

Also, if your swimmer is on the competitive team, please have them leave their backpacks and equipment outside during practice so the precompete kids have room to leave their bags inside. 

🌊 We have our first Fun Friday practice this coming Friday. All groups will practice at 8:00am. Join us for some games, slides, and treats!
