J Jets Pre-Season Info!
Good afternoon, J Jets Families!
We are one week away from the beginning of our summer season, and the coaches here at the Jets are counting down the days to start the season off! Today, I have a few reminders and quick updates for you all so that you can be ready to go for day one on May 28th!
If you have not done so already, please go to our team website and create a free account. Swimtopia (our team website) is the command center of our team and everything we do! You get email updates, texts, heat sheets, meet signups, volunteer signups, and much more through this website. It is essential that you create an account there so you don't miss anything.
If you are a returning member, make sure you go to Swimtopia and register for the 2024 season. Please reach out to me if you have any issues with this, and I can help!

There have been a lot of questions regarding what team suit to buy. The links I attach below are our current suits, however, if you got one of the other suits (with our white team logo), those will work just fine too! On another note, for those of you who are new, Swimquik in Overland Park will help you size your swimmer so you can order the right size from our team website. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me if you are having trouble with team suits!

I have been informed that some more families are interested in custom caps. For those of you who don't know, custom caps are sold separately for $25 for a pair of two. These caps are silicone (high quality material for swim caps), and have your swimmer's last name on them. If you are interested in ordering a custom cap, please fill out the google from below. Your J account will be charged once the caps arrive. Please let me know if you have questions!
For those of you who missed the parent meeting last week, do not worry! You can still pick up your t-shirt, custom cap (if ordered), and latex cap on the first day of practice next week!
We have shattered our record breaking registration numbers from last year! Both of our Precompete and Dive rosters are now full, but the Competitive team still has plenty of room! If you know anyone who is interested in trying out competitive swimming (and can swim 50 meters of freestyle and backstroke without stopping), please send them our way! Everyone has done an amazing job recruiting a lot of new families this year, and we are so excited!!
