J Jets Families! We are excited for another fun filled summer of swimming at the J, and we, the Jets Coaching Staff, are looking forward to seeing everyone again! With that being said, sign ups on the J website will be opening sometime later this month. While you wait for that, you can go to our Registration Page on our team website and get you and your athletes registered for coming updates. Registering for our team website is free of charge; sometime in the next month, an additional update will be sent out containing purchasing information for this coming season. The link will also be posted on our home page.

The meet schedule is updated and live on our Calendar Page, and a PDF containing the Competitive, Pre-competitive, and Dive schedule for 2024 is attached to this message. The website is also updated for 2024 dates, and practice times have been slightly adjusted (see our practices page for details).

Also, there were a few parents last summer that were interested in starting a volunteer, parent run, board that helps the coaches coordinate volunteers for meets, and team events. If you are interested, please reach out to Coach Bond by responding to this email or via this address ([email protected]) so a meeting can be set up to discuss the details (in order to be eligible for the parent board, members must be a returning parent from at least the previous season).

Finally, this is a BIG year for swimming and diving, since the 2024 Olympic Games are taking place in Paris, France, later this summer. With this in mind, the Coaching Staff is wanting to take advantage of this opportunity to grow the Program’s numbers while also keeping and improving the same quality of instruction/coaching from recent years. For the numbers part, we need your help! If you know anyone looking for a new sport, a new swim team, or just someway to be active and have fun this summer, forward them this email so they can get connected as soon as possible!

Keep in mind, if every returning team member brings just one new swimmer to the program, our numbers will double!! Since 2021, the Jets’ Swim Program has improved every year thanks to our amazing staff, awesome athletes, and fantastic parents! Let’s keep the momentum going!
